How to read the list

A useful shortlist, not a promise of dry rock.

Each crag is scored using the available rain, drying, dew, wind and serious-hazard signals for its representative sectors. A weekend result is ranked by the strongest available day, then by the average across the weekend, so a good Saturday is not hidden by a poorer Sunday.

Open a crag to compare its sectors and check the latest access source. The ranking deliberately stops short of route-level claims: aspect, shade, drainage, seepage and rock condition can change within a few metres.
