Community and Extended displays must show a visible link beside or directly below each forecast. It cannot be hidden behind a hover, tap or expandable panel.
Unattributed API use is charged at £150/month.
Under the accepted API terms, removing the required credit moves that integration to the published attribution-free rate for the period the credit is absent. If you do not want that charge, keep the linked credit visible or stop displaying the data.
Scraping, copying or republishing Mountain Weather content outside an agreed licence remains unauthorised and must stop unless permission is given.

Know what your plan permits.
A key is issued after the applicable API terms are accepted. Those terms record the forecast horizon, usage limit, products and attribution choice for the integration.
Use only the licensed forecast horizon.
The free licence covers the first three consecutive days. Seven-day display requires Extended, White label or an agreed Enterprise licence.
Keep the credit or move to white label.
Customers accepting an attributed plan agree that verified periods without the required credit are charged at the current £150/month attribution-free rate.
No extraction or competing dataset.
Keys may not be shared, used to evade limits, reconstruct the database, train an AI model, resell raw responses or power a substantially similar forecast service unless expressly agreed.
Preserve safety and confidence context.
Partners must not describe a forecast as guaranteed and remain responsible for their own product, presentation and users.

What does a peak forecast response include?
Each included day is a full mountain report: summit wind and gusts, temperature and wind chill, rain, cloud base and cloud-free time, freezing level, daylight, relevant hazards, confidence, forecast text and Mountain Weather ratings.
Can I add a forecast without building an API integration?
Yes. The free three-day forecast widget is a copy-and-paste iframe that updates automatically and includes the required Mountain Weather attribution.
Is attribution required?
Community and Extended plans require a visible linked credit beside the forecast. Customers who accept the API terms and then remove that credit are charged at the £150 per month attribution-free rate for the period of unattributed use.
